My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ingrid is a 1.5 year old female gerbil who came to us due to allergies in the home, and declanning with the other gerbil in the home.

Ingrid is a very playful and athletic girl. Her former owner describes her as a "wild child" and noted that she loves destroying her hides and toys. We like to provide lots of cardboard for shredding as well as other chew toys. She enjoys digging and rearranging her enclosure.

She loves coming out for play time and will happily run all over your lap- just watch out for leaping onto the floor to get that extra good free roam! A play pen is a good idea for her.

We are comfortable with either a home that has another female gerbil to bond with, or a solo home that will give her lots of attention.

She is so funny and fun loving, accustomed to being regularly handled including by children- though adult supervision is still a must!

We are able to meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis, MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
