Maggie!

We are looking to rehome our sweet black lab, Maggie. She is very good with people of all ages, including toddlers and children. She is responsive to commands, eager to please, and she will play fetch until she is exhausted. She has spent considerable time with families inside and out, and she is patient and gentle. She is a good companion and very loyal. The reason we need to rehome her is she is reactive to other dogs. She has a bite history, including with our other lab, Gilly. We feel it is time to have them separated permanently and we are choosing to keep Gilly. We feel the best home for Maggie is one without other dogs or cats. She would need a fenced-in yard or secluded area for exercise, and would have to be on leash when around other dogs. We are heartbroken to have to do this, but we feel it is the best for both of our dogs.
