Tiger Lily is a young female (possible) Husky mix who was brought to the HSOV on September 26, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Pike Street/State Route 7 in Marietta Ohio a week or so earlier. Unfortunately she was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.
Tiger Lily has a brown/tan/white short smooth coat, a rather long body, a long tail, and a beautiful face with pale brown eyes, tan eyebrows, a liver-colored nose, a large slender muzzle, and extra-large erect ears.
These photos were taken late in the afternoon of September 26th when HSOV Lead Cat Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton helped this young lady with her glamour photos. Tiger Lily was understandably a bit nervous being in an unfamiliar place, but she quickly warmed up to Lauryn's gentle touch and soft soothing praise.
Tiger Lily has a sweet personality and loved attention from Lauryn (and thanked her by giving some nice puppy kisses and snuggled in her lap afterwards).
Tiger Lily weighs 40 lbs. She doesn't appear to have been accustomed to walking a leash, but did remarkably well with Lauryn by her side while giving Tiger Lily the self-confidence to begin mastering that new skill.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Tiger Lily will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
