Lulu and Roxy are a bonded pair of young adult female chinchillas who were surrendered due to their owner no longer being able to care for them.
Lulu is 4 and is slightly bigger with a wider face. Roxy is 3 and is slightly smaller with a pointier face.
These ladies are best friends and do everything together. They love snuggling in their cozy hammocks, coming out for free roam time, chewing on sticks, and watching their foster family. They are okay with being pet once they are used to you, and will jump onto your arms or chest to say hi. They do like to sneak out of their enclosure when you open the door so watch out!
Chinchillas are beautiful, fluffy, long lived rodents who are so much fun to watch. They will need a Critter Nation or similarly sized enclosure! They average 15-20 years but can live to 30. They are generally not very cuddly pets, but they are so fun to watch in their cage, and they enjoy coming out for free roam in brief stints. They are heat sensitive so please ensure you can keep your home cool enough in the summer!
