My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Desi! He was one of the ‘Citrus pups’ you might remember him as Bergamot!

Desi came back to us because of a major life change in his family. While we hope everyone can find a way to make their fur-kids fit in for the rest of their life, sometimes a big curve ball gets tossed in the mix.

Desi’s family did a wonderful job with this handsome boy. He’s got obedience and socialization down and he’s a sweetie in general. He’s got lots of energy and they walked him everyday to keep him exercised and to work out his wiggles!   He does tend to be 'mouthy' like a lab so little children that can't hold their own might not be a good fit.

Desi is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00

If you’re looking for a well rounded boy who is good with everyone get your app in now!

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
