My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**

Meet Skeeter!  This sweet boy is looking for a forever home he can call his own.  Skeeter is approximately 10 months old. He is a very gentle and loving pup that truly just wants someone to give him snuggles.  He gets along with other dogs and seems to be pretty calm in nature.  He has been on walks with our dog walkers and does a wonderful job.  He keeps his kennel clean and plays nicely with his toys.  Skeeter would do well in a home with gentle children as he seems to be a sensitive guy and rambunctious kids might be overwhelming for him.  We have walked him through the lobby with the cats and while he was interested in them he was not overly excited so a home with dog savvy cats might be just fine for him as well.  Skeeter is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300.00

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
