Jasper is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while he is recovering. Jasper is a sweet boy that can be a little nervous when meeting new people. He does warm up with a little time, encouragement, and treat motivation. Time away from the hustle and bustle of the shelter will really help this boy gain his confidence and flourish.

Reason for Foster: GI Upset

Foster Time Frame: 1 Week

Foster Care Plan: Jasper is being treated for Giardia, a common stomach bug that causes mild digestive upset. Be sure to practice proper handwashing and promptly cleaning up after he uses the bathroom. He will go home with medication and will have a recheck scheduled with the medical team in 1 week to determine if he is ready to move forward to adoption.

Foster to Adopt: Jasper is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
