Brownie is an 11-year-old, spayed female Beagle mix who is seeking a home where someone is home most of the day. She needs a home with no more than one or two steps because she had an old back injury which impedes her ability to climb too many steps. She is a very sweet little girl, at 20 pounds, who gets very excited when she knows she is going for a walk. She really enjoys a short, leisurely walk around the yard or in the neighborhood.
Brownie is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Other than her stiffness, she is healthy, up to date on core vaccinations, and recently had a complete blood panel done. Now all she needs is a quiet retirement home where she can provide someone with love and companionship!
Brownie would thrive in a calm environment without too much hustle and bustle. She is great with other pets and would do well in a household with another gentle dog. While she is no longer a high-energy puppy, she has plenty of love to give and enjoys snuggling up with her favorite humans. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate companion to share your days with, Brownie might be the perfect addition to your family.
