My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Are you looking for gentle cuddles with an extra-large, fluffy boy?  I may be just the boy for you!!  My name is Dugie and I am going to be a very BIG boy.  I am currently a 3 month old Great Pyrenees who weighs 35-40 lbs.  As an adult I will more than likely be a fluffy 100+ lbs dog.

I am a little more reserved with new people and dogs.  It takes me some time to warm up to things and I do prefer a quieter environment.   Once you have my heart and trust, I LOVE to cuddle and get loves.  I just need to find someone who will be a little patient with me and help me adjust. Once comfortable, I am very easy going and get along with the other dogs well.  I will probably do best with another dog brother or sister to play with and help me know that everything is ok.  I ignore the cat who likes to come visit us sometimes.  I do well using the dog door to go outside when I need to.  I like to sleep on the soft blanket in the house when I'm not playing in the water outside.

My mom says she is really going to miss me because every night before bed I rest my head in her lap and just cuddle for a while.  Will you be my forever cuddle buddy?  If so, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
