Selene is a 10-month-old beagle mix girl weighing 28 pounds. She is very energetic, playful, happy, and affectionate. Selene loves people and enjoys being with them as much as possible.
Selene is young and athletic. She is good with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with canine friends. She loves stuffed toys, balls, bones, and sticks. Selene is smart and is quickly learning her new foster home. She is learning basic commands like Down and Sit but can still be jumpy and mouthy like a puppy when excited.
While Selene enjoys plenty of activity, she also likes to relax and cuddle with her people. Selene is relatively quiet but is known to join other resident dogs in barking when she gets excited or hears a strange sound.
An ideal home for Selene is one with an active family committed to ensuring she receives the attention, exercise, and playtime she needs and the love and affection she deserves. She would also love a canine sibling and a fenced yard to run around. Selene would be a great companion on outings with her new family, hiking, long walks, running, and car rides. She's overall a well-rounded young girl.

Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
