Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brothers Ernie and Bert, named after iconic characters from Sesame Street, are looking for their forever homes! They are great boys that have contrasting, yet fun and complementing personalities. Much like the character in Sesame Street, Ernie is full of energy, playful, and loves to explore. Outside he often comes up with ideas like sneaking veggies off plants in the garden or trying to take a bath in their water bowl. Bert often tries to make sense of Ernies antics but is a little more reserved. Ernies carefree and spontaneous nature will keep you laughing and wondering what he'll do next. Ernie has never met a person or an animal he didnt think was a friend and greets everyone with kisses. He isn't intimidated by big dogs and loves playing with his 65lb & 90lb foster sisters, but his favorite playmates right now are 10-week-old kittens probably because they have just as much energy as him! His foster sisters and the adult cats in the home can tell him when theyre done playing and he listens very well, leaving them be and finding something else to do with his time. Hes so curious about everything and with just a little encouragement will face any challenge! Although Ernie plays hard, he naps even harder. Hes a lover boy who enjoys cuddling up with you on the couch and falling asleep. He also enjoys the comfort of his crate & will go in on command. Ernie is crate-trained and sleeps quietly through the night. He knows the basics of potty training but is still learning how to ask his foster mom to go outside as hes not very vocal. Ernie already has sit & paw mastered and learns very quickly. Ernie will complete his vet care in mid-October and his adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting Ernie, please submit an adoption application and we'll be in touch ASAP! To ensure a smooth transition, we request a meeting with any approved applicant's current pets before commencing the 2-week adoption trial period.
