My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi, I'm Milo!  I'm a handsome little Terrier on the hunt for his forever home. I weigh 15lb and I'm around 2 years old.  I ended up in a HWMAR foster home, because my former owner was having some health issues, had to be hospitalized and can no longer care for me.

I'm an easy going, happy-go-lucky kinda fella, so I'm definitely making the best out of it.  I am fully vetted, microchipped, neutered and ready for my next adventure!   I love playing with toys in my foster home and follow my foster dad around everywhere.  I am crate and outdoor potty trained, too!  I like to think of myself as athletic so sometimes I jump up on things, just to show off my skills. I enjoy going for car rides and I am working on my leash walking skills, which are already pretty good, they just need some fine tuning!

Sometimes noises scare me, but I am easily consoled.  Since I can scared by sudden movements / loud noises, a home without small children is what I need.  (I can be crated if littles visit.)

I will make a WONDERFUL companion for someone, is that you?!

Milo's adoption fee is $350, which includes his microchip and all his recent vetting.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
