Message for details:
This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at ECCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number.
How this pet arrived:
Ginger was brought in by his previous owner on August 24, 2024.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Ginger, a playful little guinea pig with plenty of personality! Ginger came in with his best friend Bread (922087) and they can't imagine life without each other, so they will need to be adopted together. Their foster says they are "hysterical to watch" as they play chase and tag. They love to go into tunnels and then come popcorning out, squealing with joy. Ginger and Bread do not have conflicts, but they do appreciate having their own food and water. Male guinea pigs need large enclosures with a lot of ground space (10+ square feet) to run around and stay healthy. Ginger and Bread will need unlimited timothy hay to munch on and toys to keep them active and enriched! Healthy greens, veggies, and pellets are also an essential part of their diet, as well as a daily dose of vitamin C! If you'd like to learn more about adding Ginger and Bread to your family, email us about them today!
