He's the epitome of loyalty and gentleness, always content to be by your side. Gerald is a true friend to other dogs, embracing their company with ease. A connoisseur of comfort, he cherishes long naps on plush beds, dreaming of joyful moments. His calm demeanor makes him a perfect fit for a peaceful home. He does excellent at the groomer and rides well in the car. He had to have his entire coat shaved very short because when he came to us he was a matted mess. West Valley Animal Rescue rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray, unwanted and owner surrendered animals in Arizona.

Our main focus is helping the county shelters and Arizona Humane Society. We pull as many animals as possible, as often as possible so they are not overflowing. We also occasionally take in owner surrenders, strays and animals listed on Craigslist that are unaltered. Every animal is altered, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated before we find them a loving home.
