My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This busy boy is looking for a home of his own. He is a true adolescent husky, with his zest for life he will need to work on polite greetings with people, this includes working on alternative behaviours for jumping, mouthing, pulling on leash and the like. He would do best in an adult only home that understands husky behaviours and are very active themselves. This could include a family that enjoys running, hiking, or playing in dog sports frequently. A basic manners class or private training is required with adoption.

Additional adoption info

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Go meet their pets

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
