Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This Global News Star is a busy boy and looking for a home where he can show his fun husky personality! He is a true adolescent husky, with his zest for life he will need to work on polite greetings with people, this includes working on alternative behaviours for jumping, mouthing, pulling on leash and the like. He would do best in an adult only home that understands husky behaviours and are very active themselves. This could include a family that enjoys running, hiking, or playing in dog sports frequently. Cinder is very excited about his playtimes with other dogs and prefers to wrestle with his buddies here. He would potentially like to have a wrestling buddy in the home! A basic manners class or private training is required with adoption.

Go meet their pets
Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
