Connelly and Prior are three-year-old brother guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.
These boys came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when their family could no longer care for them.
These boys have nice temperaments and get along beautifully with each other and with people.
They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a 1/4 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent website http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Connelly and Prior, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage and all their supplies.
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
