Just as sweet as her name implies, Chocolate Cake is the most darling kitty you will ever meet!! This cutie pie came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control and she was a bit of a hot mess when we first got her. After some TLC, she is now a confident, floofy, and friendly little kitty who wants a home full of affection. Chocolate Cake loves to play, often climbing up the cat tree, batting around puff balls, and chasing her kitty friends in her foster home. She also loves to take a good long snooze in the sunshine and to cuddle up with you on the couch. She is a great WFH buddy and naps in your lap all afternoon. She has the most spectacular floofy tail and will have sleek, silky long fur that will be gorgeous when she grows up. Chocolate Cake also likes to talk to you and will meow or chirp at you to tell you she needs some affection or snacks.

Chocolate Cake is a young kitty and does require at least one age appropriate cat pal in her forever home. She does have a lot of energy, so she will definitely try to wrestle and play with her future kitty companion. She does great with the adult resident kitties in her foster home and would love to befriend your current kitty or can also be adopted with another kitty pal from FFF (she is currently fostered with Tilt a Whirl)! Chocolate Cake has not met any children or dogs in foster care. We know whoever adopts this love bug is in for a lifetime of laughs, big purrs, snuggles, and happiness with her. Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
