Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is our snack-sized little guy! At 7.5 lbs, he has the heart and hutzpah of a dog twice his size, but he thinks he's as big as a Rottweiler! Sammy is very lovable, likes attention and would be a great little traveling companion! He's not a fan at all of being crated, but he loves to snuggle! The home that adopts this marvelous boy will be gaining a little boy with a LOT of love!

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
