My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Morticia! After she was rescued from a life on the streets, this sassy lady is ready for a safe place to call home...just in time for Halloween!

Morticia is a pretty shy girl who sometimes still gets spooked, but she has come so far and makes more progress daily! She loves to get scritches behind her ears and will even flop over on her side to make sure she's comfortable in the process. She loves wet food, playing with toys, and chasing her foster siblings.

While she has proven that she loves humans (her foster sometimes wakes up in the night to find her staring at her from inches away), she needs a patient adopter who understands that each baby step to affection needs to come at her own pace.

While she doesn't mind spending time alone, Morticia is best suited to a home with other cats. She would love a kitten or a playful cat to run around with!

Morticia is about 10 months old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
