My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Dior!

This stunning kitty recently came to AFRP from Hitchcock Road Animal Services where she wasn't fairing well in a shelter environment. Now, in a loving foster home, Dior is ready to find her purrfect forever home!

Dior is quite a friendly girl, and absolutely loves human attention! She makes an effort to seek out attention from her fosters, often laying on them just to get it! Dior loves head rubs and loving from her humans, but prefers if it's on her own time! The ideal adopter for her would be someone who is familiar with cat body language to ensure she's being pet just the way she likes it!

Dior would absolutely love to find a home with adult adopters or with families who have cat-savvy children over the age of 10 at this time. It's currently unknown how she may do in a home with cats or dogs, but may be fine given slow and gradual introductions!

Dior is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online cat application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
