For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Apple is an adorable little man of just 2 months old that is ready to start life off right in a great home of his own, preferably with a kitten or cat friend that he could pal around with! Don't have one? Well, we have the rest of his family here too, since they were all found as strays, and you could adopt a sibling of his, or even his mom. Apple is such an outgoing, happy little guy that loves rolling around and playing with his family! He has no shyness about him either and he loves checking you out, sneaking around you to see if you'll play with him, and once he realizes you're ok, he just purrs up a storm. He's going to bring lots of fun to your life if you make him a member of the family! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#75945 9/21/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
