My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Dixie. I am a cute little girl with a velvety black coat and a small white spot on my chin that resembles a drop of milk. My mother and siblings were rescued in Alabama and brought to Big Dog Ranch to find our forever homes. While I am currently small, my mother weighs about 50 pounds, so we will most likely be medium-sized dogs. Keep in mind that us puppies require training, but the good news is that Big Dog Ranch offers a FREE training session when you adopt. I am excited to meet my new family and begin the next chapter in my life.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
