Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Rain, a young feline with a personality as intriguing as her name. She`s a bundle of paradoxes, shy yet curious, independent but playful, and above all, sassy. Rain enjoys her alone time, often lost in her world of feline fantasies. But, she`s equally thrilled when it`s playtime, her paws dancing in delight. Her curiosity is infectious; with Rain around, there`s never a dull moment. She`s also a sassy little diva, who knows her worth and isn`t afraid to show it. But beneath that sass is a heart yearning for love and a forever home. Adopt Rain, not just because she`s a cat, but because she`s Rain - a companion who`ll make every day an adventure.

More about this shelter
The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
