Hayley is a gentle, 7-year-old beauty with stunning green eyes.
Hayley was adopted from Kingdom Animal Shelter with her sister as a kitten, and was sadly returned to us when her owner passed away.
Hayley is a sweet and affectionate cat. She is shy in new settings, but she warms up quickly and is eager for petting and companionship. She enjoys being brushed, loves petting and is very happy in a warm sunny window where she can watch what is going on.
Hayley would do best in a quieter home where people can spend quality time with her. She likes other gentle cat-friendly kitties, but she has been bullied by dominant cats. We are looking for a home for Haley where she is either the only cat or with a resident cat who is known to be calm, accepting and friendly with other kitties.

Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a "same day" adoption shelter. To adopt from Kingdom Animal Shelter:
Complete an adoption application and authorization for release of information form and bring them to the Shelter during adoption hours or email them to adoptions@kingdomanimalshelter.com or mail them in to P.O. Box 462, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.
An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
Please allow at least 3 business days for the process to be completed.
After the review is complete, the adoption counselor will contact you, generally by e mail or by phone.
You will be notified if your application is approved or declined.
If the application is approved, you will work with the adoption counselor to work out a mutually agreed upon time and date for you to take your cat home.
