**Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet.

Luna is a sweet young gal with tons of puppy energy. She doesn’t mind her crate and sleeps in it quietly at night and during the day when foster Mom is at work. Luna does require play time and would do best with another doggy friend in her family to romp around with (preferably with a fenced in yard). Luna would not thrive as an only dog. Her best times are playing with the garden hose and helping foster Mom water the garden or if it’s up to her, water Luna! We are working on appropriate behavior as Luna uses her legs as an extension to show her love for people, she likes to touch you with them or bop you on your butt from behind. So far Luna has adjusted to all the dogs in her foster home with no issues. She’s more on the passive side and will sit back and watch things go down rather than getting in the middle. She is fairly quiet and enjoys sitting next to you on the couch or chewing on a bone. No soft toys for this girl as they are destroyed immediately! Luna’s perfect family would be one that understands puppy energy is normal and not aggressive, because this girl is 100% a lover. No small kids and no apartments please, once again she needs room to play, and little kids may get knocked down or downstairs neighbor may not appreciate the pitter patter of Luna feet. Please give this beautiful girl a chance, you won’t regret it!

More about this rescue

Hoping Fur A Home is a volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Southern, WI area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
