Take the Pet Home
Meet Keeva! Keeva is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).
“Fur-st Impressions” are very important! Schedule a meet and greet with Keeva before applying to see if she is the perfect fit for your family by emailing us at Fur-stImpressions@pathofhoperescue.com. A completed Adoption Application will be required after the meet and greet to move forward with Keeva’s adoption.
Born in March of 2021, beautiful Keeva has floppy ears and warm, chocolate brown eyes. Her soft coat is a solid tawny golden brown over her body and turns into spots on her paws. An active, female Australian cattle dog/German Shepherd/Newfoundland mix (according to DNA test results on her sibling), she is a trim, medium size adult dog. Keeva was originally adopted from Path of Hope Rescue as a puppy. A sweet and loving dog, she is coming back to us because her adopter is traveling more for work, and he feels Keeva needs more attention and activity than she has been receiving.
True to her cattle dog nature, Keeva relishes being active. Before his work situation changed, she would run 3-5 miles daily with her adopter, and she would thrive with an active family. She plays fetch haphazardly, loves playing with her toys, and delights in being around people, including the young children in her adoptive family. Friendly Keeva knows how to enjoy her down time as well; a snuggler who loves to give kisses, she was cuddling up to the new people in her life immediately upon arrival at our rescue. Keeva has not been tested with cats, but we will update this when she has. She was an only dog in her adopted home but is living with two resident dogs in her foster home. A smart girl, Keeva is crate and potty trained and has attended basic obedience training.
Keeva just returned to us, and we will be learning more about her as she settles into her new routine in her foster home. If you’d like to learn more about Keeva or meet her, reach out to us for more information or to set up your Fur-stImpressions meet!
