Introducing Nate, an approximately 8-month-old pup with the most striking icy-blue eyes and a happy-go-lucky personality. Nate has the friendliest demeanor, despite ending up at a rural animal control at just four months old. He and his brother spent a month there confined to a pen before being pulled into rescue, escaping euthanasia at the last minute.

Nate is now enjoying the good life in a foster home where he’s mastered potty training and crate training. Nate is a super confident young pup who loves to run and play with the dogs in his foster home. He’d do best in a home with another playful dog. Nate adores his humans as well and is always happy to cuddle up on a lap. He’s 100% a lap dog!

Nate goes to work at a local dog food store with his foster dad and he does great behind the counter, greeting all the customers with a wagging tail when he’s not napping. He also loves car rides, and he’s always up for any adventure!

We think Nate is possibly an Australian Sheperd mix. He currently weighs around 40 lbs and we think he’ll be in the 50-pound range when full grown.
