A22323 Sarah Michelle is a grey and white colored, approximately 1 to 2-year-old, 47-pound, spayed female, Pitbull.
She entered the shelter as a stray on 09-26-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Sarah Michelle is a friendly, energetic girl here at the shelter. Our staff says she is high energy, sometimes a spazz in her excitement to smell everything. She was easy to leash, super excited to be out for a walk. She is a strong puller and will need a strong handler to keep her in control, as she follows each new smell and site. We would recommend no small children just because she is so strong, she might bowl over a toddler in her excitement to play or please. If you need a walking or hiking buddy, she might be perfect for you. She has had some training and with "sit "stay "come and "down upon command. Sarah Michelle will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
