My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trooper is a Belgian Malinois Mix who was found running loose right down the road from ARC. After his holding period at Lee County Domestic Animal Services was over, we brought him back to ARC to make sure he finds the perfect home. Trooper is a gentle dog who is super excited to be around people. He loves to be cuddled and give kisses, and will be extra appreciative to have a home of his own.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this sweet boy today!?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
