Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Moto, the spirited pup who’s ready to bring love, energy, and a whole lot of fun into his new home! This adventurous guy is always on the move, making him a perfect match for someone who can keep up with his active spirit. He has plenty of love to share—especially in the form of slobbery kisses!
Moto has been working hard in the START training classes through Dayton Dog Training Club, and he’s picking up new skills like a pro! He already knows “get it” and “come,” sits nicely, waits patiently, and is making great progress on “down.” He weaves in and out of cones, walks well on a leash with treats, and even confidently steps onto the wobble board without hesitation. He loves toys, enjoys treats, and had a blast playing with a ball. He’s also learned “paws up” to say hello!
Moto would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. With his eager-to-please attitude and growing list of skills, he’s ready to thrive with someone who will continue his training and provide the guidance he needs.
If you're looking for a fun-loving, energetic buddy who’s as smart as he is sweet, Moto could be your perfect match! Stop by the shelter or fill out an adoption application on our website to meet him in person!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
