My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Moto, the spirited pup who's ready to bring lots of love and energy into his new home! Moto is full of life and always on the move, making him a great match for someone who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. He's protective of his people and has plenty of love to share-especially in the form of slobbery kisses!

Moto is still working on his manners through training, and he's determined to become a better member of society every day. With his strong will and eager-to-please attitude, he's making great progress and will thrive with someone who can offer him guidance and consistency.

If you're ready for a fun-loving, energetic buddy who's always down for some training and affection, Moto could be your guy! Stop by the shelter or fill out an adoption application on our website to meet him in person!

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
