My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Email for details:
Millhouse is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested in adopting, please email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org

How this pet arrived:
Millhouse was brought in by a community member.

At SDHS:
He has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Like many of us, Millhouse is seeking an early retirement. This boy is ready to leave the hustle and bustle behind and nestle into a quiet little life full of naps, leisurely walks and lounging while watching the world go by. His ideal home would offer him quality time with his humans, a routine that includes short adventures outside and plenty of toys! Millhouse is a bit shy, so he is looking for people who can give him the patience he needs to become comfortable in his new home. He would also love quiet days and cozy nights in, making him an excellent buddy to relax alongside. If you think this fella might fit well into your family, give us a call to chat about Millhouse today.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
