My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snoop Pig is an adorable and amazingly friendly, six-month-old, red and white American guinea pig looking for a loving guardian.

Found stray, he was brought to Friends of Petraits Rescue to find the family of his dreams.

We don’t know if Snoop has ever shared a habitat with another guinea pig, but he sure loves talking to his neighboring pigs at the rescue! He’s very happy and friendly.

Snoop Pig eats unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, a cup of fresh salad each day including cilantro, green, red leaf, and butter lettuce, parsley, and a 1/4 cup of guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C from fresh pellets, or some of their dark leafy greens.

Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent website http://www.guinealynx.info/

Snoop Pig would love a home with people who will handle him daily, keep him well-fed, nails trimmed, and habitat clean.

If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Snoop Pig please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

His adoption fee of $25 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase his 2 foot by 4 foot Midwest guinea pig habitat and a starter kit of all the supplies you’ll need to care for him.

Snoop Pig is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
