My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Phoebe! Phoebe is a beautiful young Brittany Spaniel, 8 months old and learning all about the good life! With a new soft bed of her own, toy, treats and loving fosters, Phoebe has hit the jackpot. Already so smart, her nose is always working, but so sweet, she will stop everything for a hug and cuddle. Already great on house manners, Phoebe is starting life with some separation anxiety, loves her people or fur friends around, and will need an adopter who can work on her confidence that you will always return for her. Phoebe is not destructive, she will cry/howl as you leave and needs someone who can work on that with her. A furry foster sibling could help with this issue. She will reward you with cuddles and kisses, she just needs someone to give her that great foundation.

Phoebe is a smaller Brittany, a perfect companion for trail runs or walks to the coffee shop. She already knows many commands and is a fetching queen!

Phoebe has been spayed and is ready for her forever family now!

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
