Boomer is back with SAAP and looking for a forever family who can keep up with his energy!

Boomer is a almost a year old and about 40 lbs. We are guessing is a heeler/German shepherd mix and his personality is heeler through and through.

Boomer is a high energy playful teenage puppy who will test boundaries and needs structure as well as mental and physical stimulation to be his best self.

Boomer would do best with a dog sibling that is large than him who is down to play rough and run. He has responded well to corrections for his mouthy cattle dog play style but can quickly become a bully to smaller dogs or dogs who do not stand up to his rough play.

Boomer is not good with cats and would do best with older children as his cattle dog genes have him ready to herd and be mouthy to get his way.

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
