My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Nancy (nancy.hemphill@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

A small rescue in California found her laying in a field where she had likely been for awhile. She had a broken hip and foot on one side and a badly fractured leg on the other, so walking was virtually impossible. The rescue reached out for help and Sammie was transported to us, where her hip was surgically repaired by Dr Lowell Tyler. Her leg and foot had already started to heal so he thought it best to leave it and see if it needed a revision after the hip had healed. Sammie has been rehabbing in her foster home with daily walks and swimming and tlc and is doing wonderfully!! She is the sweetest girl and puts up with the two foster puppy menaces that climb all over and attack her. She gets along with the 5 other adult dogs in the home, both big and small. She has a spay date next week and will be available for adoption. If you are looking for a girl that will cuddle and be your best friend, here she is. She is about 45 pounds and 2 years old. She walks wonderfully on a leash, is crate and potty trained. She really is a dream date

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
