For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Nevada Humane Society: Carson City with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I might be a bit bashful (what can I say I get nervous being in the spotlight) but hey not everyone was born for the limelight. I may not be the leading role in any of the upcoming hits, but I sure do think I could play a great supporting role. I am looking for something similar in your life. Will you let me sit back while you take the lead? I will still be there when you need me.
My adoption fee is $50

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Please see http://www.nevadahumanesociety.org/ for more information including all currently available animals, adoption prices, resources, and events.
