AFH rescued Maddie from a shelter in a rural area. Her and her brother were part of an unwanted and accidental litter in Georgia. The owner finally decided to give them up to a rescue group. Since coming to AFH Maddie has shown so much love and just wants the same in return. She has warmed right up since arriving. She has learned how to walk on a leash a little bit, but we are still working on it as she likes to hold the leash and walk herself with you! We are working on the sit command and she is slowly getting the hang of it. We are still working on house training and basic puppy manners. She is seeming to take to crate training well as she has slept between 7 hours without any accidents or whining when it’s time to go in for bed. Maddie is a sweet dog who seems to love everyone she has met so far: adults, children ranging from 5-12, other dogs of all ages, and cats. She absolutely loves to snuggle and give “hugs”. She has the cutest little front paws with her white “mittens” and alternating black and white toenails! With being a young puppy she has alot of energy and loves to get it out with playtime with her dog pals or playing with some toys! Maddie will fit into almost any household and make a great companion!
