Hi! I’m Legacy! I am a cuddly, introverted guy who gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Since I am still a puppy, I am working on my house training, my crate training and how to walk on a leash. I enjoy squeaky toys and chasing balls in my backyard and wrestling with my foster siblings. I love to cuddle. Once you pick me up, I arrange myself in my favorite position - placing my paws over the shoulder of my human. I am a bit of a shy guy at first. But, once I build my confidence, I can be a gregarious little guy: once I learn something, I am proud to show the rest of my siblings how to do it. I have these cute puppy barks when I want something from you and then will quickly settle into my quiet self. I am so excited to have a family all my own who will provide me all the love and guidance I need as I learn and grow! I will need to be neutered when I am old enough. Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.

Cause for Canines is a 501(c)(3)volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.
