My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flynn!

This sweet boy came into our care as a stray and is looking for his forever home! Flynn is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he turns into the most affectionate and loving companion. He craves attention and will quickly become your loyal shadow. Due to his potential for separation anxiety, Flynn is looking for a home where his human can spend most of the day with him.

Flynn thrives in calm, quiet environments and will need a patient and understanding family to help build his confidence. A home without young children is ideal as he can be spooked by loud and sudden movements. He's still learning about the world and may be nervous in new situations, so gentle encouragement will go a long way. Basic obedience training and potty training will be key to helping Flynn settle into his new home.

Flynn would do best as the only pet, soaking up all the attention, but with proper introductions, he may make doggy friends outside the home. A breed-savvy adopter, or someone willing to learn about the needs of Australian Shepherds, would be the perfect match for this special boy.

He is currently healing from a minor injury on his paw but despite that, he is still full of energy and ready to go to the right home! Flynn is ready for a loving, patient home where he can blossom into the confident, loyal companion he's meant to be. Could you be the one for Flynn? 💙🐾

Do you think you could be Flynn's person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

    Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

    Whereas:
