My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I can be shy in new spaces and when meeting new people. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

I need to be the only dog in my new home. Sharing my home and stuff with another dog just isn't for me, but I might be able to have play dates with dogs I'm friends with! My human friends at the shelter can tell you more.

I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.

I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org.
