My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a handsome silver agouti and white Crested Guinea Pig. He is a bit shy but is warming up with each passing day, especially when you have yummy greens to give him. His foster mom agrees. He will need a very calm family to let him know human hands aren't scary. And veggies help with that for sure! He was with a gp friend but he sadly passed away. We tried him with another one but Piper seems to prefer being single.

This active boy should have a cage with at least 6 square feet of floor space (more is better though)- we recommend C&C style cages as they are large, inexpensive, and very flexible in size and shape. The website www.guinealynx.info offers great guidance on housing, feeding, and other husbandry tips. Guinea Pigs can live along time and need daily care, but their cute vocalizations and behaviors make it all worth it. Come meet Piper today! ***ADOPTION FEE PAID***
