My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Foster writes:
Belladonna is one of my favorite kitties I've ever encountered! I have never met a cat so loving, sweet, funny, cute or perfect! She adapted to my home so quickly, even winning over my grumpy male cat (she attempted a cuddle with him and that was only two weeks into them knowing each other.) She also did great with my neighbors dog who came to visit for two days. She craves cuddles and attention and loves sitting on my chest and nibbling my ear. If you're looking for the perfect lap cat, she's it! She has a wonderful personality, sweet with a little bit of spice which I love. She has the cutest old lady cat meow and loves getting treats. Don't be scared off by her thyroid meds, I put them in a pill masker and she eats them right away. Easiest pill I've done! She's such a low maintenance cat who just wants to eat, sleep, cuddle and play! She loves the mouse toys I give her. This one will be hard to say goodbye to but I will be so happy to know she's in a loving home getting all the treats. Please give Belladonna a chance! She'll bring so much happiness to your life.

A volunteer writes:
Bella Donna! A beautiful dame..Indeed Bella Donna is a pretty sight in her vibrant ginger dress, lighting up her kennel with beauty and grace. This lovely senior(she is 13), outfitted with a harness, was found by a Good Samaritan, trotting without a leash in Upper Manhattan. A cat with a harness...How strange! Could she be a dog in disguise? No way, Bella Donna is all cat, head bunting and purring, teasing a catnip mouse and rolling on her side for in depth petting. She is sweet and friendly, spunky and playful too. Our Bella is a bit on the thin side(a good home will fatten her up), her hair is thin where her harness was(well, the harness is gone) and she has the teeth of a senior. It is without say that Bella Donna is not only a Belle but also aced her behavioral evaluation making her an almost perfect kitty. Bella Donna is already spayed and could go home today to spend in beauty, love and safety, her golden years. Come and meet her very soon at the Manhattan Care Center!
