My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Bandit. Even though I might have been a hard lot in life but I don't let it dampen my sprits. My foster mom says I was born with a cleft palette and I had to be tube fed as a baby.This is part of the reason I am a small boy because as a baby I didn't get enough to eat. I just had surgery to repair everything but it only partially worked. I eat just fine, and I love my treats. I prefer my soft ones. I love to play tug with my rope toy and playing fetch.
I am only 2 pounds at 9 months old so I am going to be a little boy. I have one other slight problem is that my hind end is underdeveloped so I don't have a lot of bladder control. Because of this I have to wear diapers. My foster mom says I might get some mobility back since I'm running around so much more now. I get along great with both my foster dog friends. I also get along really good with everyone I meet. I am hoping to find a home soon.

Submit Application

Please fill out an our adoption application at www.pawprintsinthesand.org

2.
Interview

Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

After we've had the chance to get to know you and feel you would make an awesome pet parent, we'll schedule a meeting with the pet.

4.
Home Check

We require an in-home home check (not virtual) for all adoption candidates.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, we will send you our adoption agreement and link to pay the adoption fees.

6.
Pay Fee

I approved, we will send you the payment options available to pay the adoption fee. All fees go towards our life-saving programs.

7.
Take the Pet Home

FINALLY! Once the adoption fee and agreement are received, we will make arrangements with you to take home your new family member! Congrats!

Once the application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet, home and vet/reference check. We will also collect an adoption fee.
