My name is Arden, I am a 4 month-old Blue Tick Hound Mix. I am a very playful, spunky, little girl and so full of energy. When I do get tired, I just want to snuggle and curl up next to you and sleep. I especially love my bones and stuffed toys. I am making great progress with potty training, and I do well if I am taken out on a regular schedule. I sleep in my crate overnight and only wake up once during the night to go outside. My foster parents help me by putting a light blanket over my crate at night, so that I calm down and sleep. When it's time to go into my crate I go in with no problem as I know that my foster parents are going to give me a treat. I love my treats, and I am very food-motivated! I love to play outside with my foster siblings and run around the backyard. I have been around big dogs and small dogs, and I love kids! My foster parents do have a cat, I am curious about him, but he wants nothing to do with me, but I don’t chase him. My favorite hobbies are playing with bones, chewing sticks, and stuffed toys. I will do well with an active family who wants to play with me! My foster parents have also been training me to swim in their pool.
Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.
