Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This beautiful girl is approximately 2-3years old. She was found locally and very emaciated at 22.5Ibs in June 2024. Quincy could not even hold up her own head or stand. She was taken to a local animal hospital for care where, despite her body condition, she was deemed fairly healthy. She was hospitalized for the next 2-3 weeks while she received the care she needed and slowly began to regain strength.
With TLC from her foster, Quincy eventually started walking on her own. She continues to thrive in foster and has been taught basic commands, is potty trained, socialized with other dogs, cats, and loved by a set of older kids. She loves car rides, playing with her doggy housemate, going for walks, and snuggling. Quincy is incredibly smart, vocal, food motivated, and would do best with an active family.
Quincy is currently working on kennel training. She is a very sweet girl despite what she was put through and would make a wonderful companion.
Quincy is waiting for her furever family from her foster home. Contact us at the Pocatello Animal Shelter at 208-234-6156 or email at pokypets@pocatello.gov to schedule a time to meet and potentially adopt Quincy! Primary Color: Black Brown Weight: 24 Age: 2yrs 3mths 1wks
I am available for adoption at the Pocatello Animal Shelter.
