My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alvie is a perfect blend of adventure and calm. He loves bike rides, walks, and exploring new places, yet he has a laid-back nature, often content to sit at your feet while you work. Loyal and comforting, he’s the kind of dog who will quietly stay by your side, making him an excellent companion. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting his legs wet at the beach, showing off his adventurous spirit. Despite his independence, he’s also a big fan of snuggling next to your feet, offering both comfort and affection.

With his stoic, regal demeanor, Alvie is an old soul who will become your loyal shadow once he trusts you. He takes treats with gentle care and his favorite snack is string cheese. Alvie is smart and responds well to guidance & structures. While he doesn’t require a husky-savvy owner, he would thrive best with someone experienced in handling dogs.

From Alvie's foster dad:

Alvie loves running or biking with his human. He comes back with a happy face every time. He is very responsive to obedience training. He knows sit, wait, heel, here, leave it and no. He prefers to meet other dogs slowly. Once he trusts you, he will be your ride or die. He has very good leash manners once awhile he just needs some "reminders".

Alvie is crate and muzzle trained, with no signs of separation anxiety. However, due to his high prey drive, we don’t recommend placing him in a home with small animals. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous, and loving companion, Alvie is your perfect match. Visit our website to fill out an adoption application!
