My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Benji!**

Benji is an adorable 8-10 year-old, 9lb Yorkie with a heart full of love and a story that will melt yours. He's fully potty trained and happiest when he's near his human, soaking up all the affection he can get. Benji loves mealtime, and his joyful spirit shines through in his tail wags and happy prances around the house.

Though Benji has faced some tough times, including overcoming the removal of a cancerous tumor on his mouth, he's a fighter. The tumor hasn't spread, but he may need future surgeries, so he needs a loving, patient owner who can provide the care and support he deserves. Benji's past has made him a little cautious, but with kindness and time, he'll blossom into the perfect companion.

If you're looking for a loyal friend who will love you endlessly, Benji is ready to give you all the love in his little Yorkie heart! He would do best as an only dog, but is tolerant of other animals.

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchip, blood work done

Adoption fee is: $300.00

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
