Where art thou? Your search is over! With one smile this inspirational and charming boy will capture your heart in no time. Always eager to be by your side, Romeo’s ready for any adventure with you. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a playful afternoon in the yard, or a fun training session, he always has the time. A plucky soul with a happy-go-lucky attitude, no one ever notices right away that Romeo is hard of hearing. But this doesn’t hold him back! Very smart and treat motivated, Romeo has been a blast to train. Already equipped with many hand signal and boundary commands, he’s already prepared for his future family. Better as a solo-companion to have all the love for himself, can you complete his journey with a happy ending?

More about this rescue
Highland Lakes Canine Rescue was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by a group of folks who wanted to rescue homeless dogs from the Central Texas region and care for their health, rehabilitation and then to ultimately find these dogs a forever home uniting them with a newly adopted family. Initially HLCR started out as a foster only organization but over the 17 years has grown into it's own location with a kennel facility, outdoor pens, walking trails and staff and resident caretaker. An active and passionate group of staff and volunteers works tirelessly supporting HLCR and its mission.
