Meet IROH!
• Male
• Great Pyrenees mix
• 3 years old
• 90 pounds
• Medium energy
• Good with other dogs
• Good in a harness
• Appears to be potty trained
Iroh is a Pyrenees with a tranquil yet playful spirit that embodies these breed's typical nature. With his soulful eyes and effortless mellow demeanor, this fluffy pup has a remarkable ability to ground his humans and help them find calm in the chaos of daily life. Iroh moves through the world at his own leisurely pace, pausing to sniff the flowers or simply bask in the sun before ambling back to his favorite spot on the couch for cuddles. But life with him is far from boring; sometimes spurring into a little mischief once in a blue moon. Independent and smart to boot, the only thing about Iroh that will be high maintenance is all that hair! Being so very sweet, we have no doubt Iroh will fit into most living situations that allows him to have enough space to roam from time to time during the day.
Iroh is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

More about this rescue
Highland Lakes Canine Rescue was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by a group of folks who wanted to rescue homeless dogs from the Central Texas region and care for their health, rehabilitation and then to ultimately find these dogs a forever home uniting them with a newly adopted family. Initially HLCR started out as a foster only organization but over the 17 years has grown into it's own location with a kennel facility, outdoor pens, walking trails and staff and resident caretaker. An active and passionate group of staff and volunteers works tirelessly supporting HLCR and its mission.
