My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy, your three-legged love bug. This 8 year old 50 lb mixed breed dog has a lot of miles under her belt, but plenty more to be had.  Roxy is a sweet and resilient gal who’s ready to find her forever home.

This special pup may have three legs, but she has a heart full of love to share. Roxy is an adult dog who adores everyone she meets. She’s looking for a loving family who appreciates her gentle spirit and will cherish her for the incredible companion she is. Roxy is calm, affectionate, and ready to bring joy to your life.

If you’re ready to open your heart to this amazing girl, apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Give Roxy the loving home she deserves.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
